Mrs. Aimee Hanson

Mrs. Hanson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with specialty in Early Childhood Education from StateUniversityCollege at Oswego, a Master's Degree from SyracuseUniversity, and her New York State Certification. She has been teaching since 1985 and has extensive background in the Classical Curriculum. She has also been serving our Church coordinating study groups, apostolic activities, conferences and retreats for women throughout Central New York. Mrs. Hanson is the Headmaster of John Paul II.

Mrs. Sandra Thurston

Mrs. Thurston earned a Bachelor's in Political Science from StateUniversityCollege at Fredonia, a Master's from StateUniversity at Oswego, and her New York State Certifications in Reading Education K-12 and Elementary Education. Since 1991, she has dedicated herself to teaching children in the classroom. Mrs. Thurston is a passionate teacher and an inspiring role model of a life long learner.

Mrs. Kristen McNabb

Mrs. McNabb earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from SUNY Cortland and her Master of Arts Teaching English from SUNY Cortland. In addition to being at home with her son, she has tutored various grade levels at after school programs and a plethora of students for the SATs, ACTs, and GREs. She is a lover of books and has even taken on writing her own.

Mrs. Sara Parrott

Mrs. Parrott earned aBachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in English/Creative Writing fromSUNY New Paltz and her Master of Arts inEnglish fromSUNY Binghamton. Her varied experience includesteaching college english composition, working in editing and management, including operating the HuntingtonLearningCenter, and teaching at a Catholic grammer school. In her personal time Mrs. Parrott is a religious education instructor at St. Cecilia's Church inSolvay.

Mrs. Daniela Dubovici

Mrs. Dubovici earned an Education Degree from Romania in 1995 and is currently completing her New York State Certification. Mrs. Dubovici was the beloved kindergarten teacher at SS Peter & PaulSchool since 2007. She speaks four languges and especially enjoys reading with her students.

Mrs. Michelle DeRegis

Mrs. DeRegis earned a Bachelor's in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education from Well's College. She has been teaching since 1993, tutoring students in math, as well as having taken some time at home to care for her children. She is bilingual, but math is her specialty and we are blessed to have her share her talent, supporting students and substituting when in need.

Mrs. Ineke Fenzl

Mrs. Fenzl is a Registered Nurse, specializing in Obstetrics. She has retired as a nursing manager and supervisor to teach and enjoy the children of the many mothers she has cared for. Mrs. Fenzl is also multilingual. As her own children are growing up, she is thankful for the opportunity to teach and play with the JPII preschool children.

Mrs. Karen DeAngelis

As Mrs. Fenzl's right hand, Mrs. DeAngelis keeps things moving and makes us all laugh. She will beworking with the preschool this year.We're not sure who will be having more fun, Mrs. DeAngelis or the children. We are once again in good hands.

Mrs. Barbara Palmer

Mrs. Palmer has a B.A. in Physical Education and Special Teaching Certification for k-12 from AuroraUniversity, Aurora, Illinios. Mrs. Palmer's experience includes a strong science background in health and nutrition, extensive years of gymnastic coaching, Catholic youth ministry, religious education and RCIA. As a mother, she has also been a home educator and co-op contributor, focused on the classical education and including the beauty and value of latin. She is now sharing her many talents with our students as our latin teacher.

Miss Rachael Tissot

We are pleased to welcome our music and mathteacher. MissTissot has a Social Science and Humanities Degree with a concentration in Education from CCC. ShestudiedMathematics with a minor in Education for NYS Certification from WellsCollege.She is a College Reading and Learning Association certified tutor. Sheis a Professional Musician, singer, song writer and preformer. She is a Theater Director for Cayuga/Seneca ARC anddirector/music consultant for F.A.M.E.. Miss Tissot has over 10 years of experience as an organist and choir director, currently at Good Shepherd Catholic Community.

Mrs. Rebecca Pearsall

Mrs. Pearsallhas continued studying and producing the arts while staying home with her children. Mrs. Pearsall taught visual arts at our JPII summer camp. The children had a wonderful time with numerousartistic mediums,including mosaics, sculptures, homemade playdough, shaving cream, and dyes. They even sat in a wheel chair and painted as if they were Henri Matisse. They are sure to joyfully learn so much more.

Jack and Irene O'Neil

Mr. and Mrs. O'Neil are master catechists and have been teaching the faith for over thirty years. They have raised their seven children, retired and are now enjoying their grandchildren. They have graciously offered to share their tremendous knowledge of the Catholic faith with the students of JPII.
