Refer to the Course Calendar at (see “Degree and Major Requirements”) for general degree requirements and requirements associated with specific majors.

Notes to Students:

  1. SOC-1101/6 Introduction to Sociology is waived as a prerequisite for SOC-2115/6 and SOC-2103/6.
  2. Consult with your advisor in planning your course selection.
  3. There is a 42 credit-hour limit on 1000-level courses. Check the 1000-level prerequisites for 2000- and 3000-level courses and select your Humanities and Science courses accordingly.
  4. Because BUS-1201/3 is a prerequisite for BUS-1202/3, and BUS-1202/3 is a prerequisite for BUS-2440/3, students will not be able to register for all of these three courses in Year 4 of the program. It is, therefore, imperative, that students take BUS-1201/3 and BUS-1202/3 as early in their program as possible, even though these are designated as Year 4 courses in the program. Failure to do so will result in a delay in the student’s completion of the program and graduation.
  5. Credit transfers of 24 or more credit hours from another institution result in an exemption from Academic Writing.
