Special Areas of Expertise and Interest:
Dr. Aguirre has worked in the military as a Pharmacy Specialist for the US Army, and as a Medical Specialist for the US Air Force, where he conducted flight physicals, ran ambulance and medically cared for a battery of men of a Strategic Air Command.
His military work continued working for a Veterans Hospital doing research in Microbiological and Immune System studies. Pathology studies were carried out using time lapse photography on tissue chambers and using experimental protocols such as aceylamide gel electrophoresis to identify disease.
In the private sector Dr. Aguirre has worked as a chemist and pharmacist for various manufacturers.
In addition to acting as a private consultant,he also served on various Boards of Directors for private convalescent hospitals.
Dr. Aguirre worked for Seattle Pharmaceutical Services as a Pharmaceutical consultant to 56 hospitals and lectured to doctors and nurses.
While there his responsibilities included checking both patients and the patients charts for medication errors. Dr. Aguirre is
well grounded in pharmaceutical chemistry research and is knowledgeable in such.
His very great interest in holistic methodologies led him to the position of Medical director of the Caddo Valley Health Ranch for several summers.
He has also studied and worked at various Cancer Medical Clinics in Mexico.
Dr. Aguirre has also greatly enjoyed conducting radio talk shows at KKUP in Cupertino, California for a year.
Dr. Aguirre became familiar with and worked with various clinics in Mexico to do alternative therapies not done in USA.
His research in these fields are currently being compiled for publication and use.
His interest in ensuring high standards of modern food production could be maintained led him to work as a Food Scientist and the
Head of Research and Development for Modern Development Corp of California. While there he managed a complete chemical lab,
assaying food products and bringing them up to high standards. Quality control checking for any type of contamination, bacterial or
chemical, assurance of shelf life and also investigating and inventing new high standard products.
From 1976 until 1988 Dr. Aguirre owned and managed the Naturopathic Columbia Family Clinic.
For the past 20 plus years, Dr. Aguirre has worked in private practice as a physician for specialized cases.
During this time he has also managed and been an educator within his nutritional and health consulting business called “Health Assurance Plans”.
One of Dr. Aguirre’s main interests throughout his career has been and continues to be trying to educate the public to be self-sufficient.
