Campus President

The campus president sets the vision of the campus and validates the commitment to increase access to international education opportunities forstudents (PTK members and students eligible for PTK membership).

  1. Complete PTK Agreement (If not part of a system agreement)
  2. Send a campus email introducing the partnership (see samples in toolkit)
  3. Send a press release announcing the partnership (see samples in toolkit)
  4. Host presidential “international scholarship” events for eligible students
  5. Set campus enrollment and completion goals, celebrate the success of students and faculty in completing IHC online courses and receiving international travel scholarships

Chief Academic Officer

The Chief Academic Officer helps to ensure that the IHC online courses are aligned to local academic credit-bearing courses that provide maximum degree value and transferability for students.

  1. Align IHC online coursesfor academic credit
  2. Oversee process for awarding credit
  3. Engage faculty in supporting students
  4. Ensure that course opportunities are communicated to all eligible students

PTK Advisors / Lead Faculty

As appropriate for individual campuses, the Phi Theta Kappa Advisors and/or Lead Faculty for the courses look for ways to inspire and engage students while supporting them through IHC online course completion and success with their Phi Theta Kappa ILIAD capstone unit.

  1. Advisors/faculty will receive login credentials to experience an IHC online course and the PTK ILIAD unit
  2. Promote IHC online courses to eligible students
  3. Mentor / support students through IHC online courses and the ILIAD capstone unit
  4. Set goals and celebrate the success of students and faculty

Registrar / Bursar

The Registrar and/or Bursar enroll and bill students the same as any course, and report completion of the course for credit on student transcripts. The process for the student is designed to be seamless and to reduce any barriers to access.

  1. Define registration and payment processes for IHC online courses at campus
  2. Utilize the Phi Theta Kappa excel file provided to complete student registration
  3. Upload enrolled student file to Phi Theta Kappa Professional Dropbox
  4. After receiving invoice from Phi Theta Kappa, verify final student file and remit funds to Phi Theta Kappa within 30 days
  5. Award credit to students who have successfully completed the IHC online course and ILLIAD capstone unit.
