A good-sized bed quilt or baby quilt for advanced beginners and beyond. Build on a theme, season, holiday or just come up with some fabrics that coordinate well.

It needs to be purchased on the day of the mystery quilt class ($10). You didn’t think we’d give it to you ahead of time? Then you wouldn’t have any fun in solving the mystery!

A large print w/ lt. background / ½ yard / 1 yard / 1 5/8 yard
B large print w/ dk. background / 5/8 yard / 1 ¼ yards / 1 ½ yards
C dark tone on tone / 5/8 yard / 1 ½ yards / 1 7/8 yard
D light tone on tone / 5/8 yard / 1 ½ yards / 1 7/8 yard
E medium tone on tone / ½ yard / 1 1/8 yards / 1 ¼ yards
F light tone on tone (could have a very small print) / ½ yard / 7/8 yard / 1 yard
G border (your choice) / ¾ yard / 1 ¼ yards / 1 ¼ yard
H binding (your choice) / ½ yard / ¾ yard / ¾ yard
I backing (your choice) / 2 7/8 yard / 5 ¼ yards / 7 ¾ yard

Note: We will NOT be doing borders/backs/bindings during class; but I put them here in case you want to purchase all at once.
Notions:
Machine, cords, ¼” foot (or must be able to produce a ¼” seam)
Rotary Cutter
Optional: personal cutting mat
Quilt rulers 6” x 24 and a 6 ½” square and a 12 ½” square (or similar square) work well
Thread for piecing
Marking tool (any type-even a pencil)
Lunch/snack
Pre-class homework: Cut the following fabric prior to class please:
Fabric C cut 24 – 5” squares
Fabric D cut 6 – 9 ¼” squares This will be enough to make the baby quilt. Obviously more will be needed
Fabric E cut 20- 4 ½” squares for larger quilts; but this can be done at home after the class. Be sure to also
Fabric F cut 16- 4 ½” squares bring fabrics A & B to class.
