Outline:
The purpose of the East Asia International Workshop is to exchange present and long-term environmental information of East Asian region for clarifying environmental processes and changes in East Asiaduring the Quaternary.
The East Asia International Workshop was initially held in Daejeon, Korea (2004), and was subsequently in Kanazawa, Japan (2005), Seoul, Korea (2006), Nanjing, China (2007), Hakodate, Japan (2008) and Taipei, Taiwan (2009). The 7th Workshop (2010) will be held at Jeju Island,Korea.

1. Dynamics of terrestrial processes: deposits and history
2. Geochronology: advanced techniques in AMS and OSLdating and their application
3. Geomorphology: Quaternary landscape evolution and landuse changes
4. Quaternary palynology and paleoecology: reconstructions from biologic proxies
5. Regional environmental change: Asian and Indian monsoon
6. Natural Hazards: earthquake, landslide, tsunami and storm surge
7. Paleoclimate modeling
