What other information should intern candidates know about your district or internship experience that is not listed here? We have nine schools within our district, which are located in Avondale, North West Tucson, Casa Grande, Maricopa, Surprise, Chandler, Gilbert, and Queen Creek. As of next year, we will be adding two new campuses located in North chandler and Glendale. We provide our psychologists with a wide variety of assessment materials in order to complete comprehensive assessments. Our psychologists are trained in the cross battery approach to assessment, MTSS and the strength and weaknesses model. Our district will allow a school psychology intern to grow in ways that will benefit your future as a school psychologist. Not only will our interns learn the fundamentals of the school psychology practice, they will be exposed to a vastly different student demographic due to the location of our campuses. Individual campuses needs are different from one another, making our interns well rounded and ready to tackle any task that they are presented with within their internship and future as a school psychologist.
