- Projects/interests
Dave L. and Dave M. had nearly finished the cataloguing of the masons’ marks at Bardney church. Photographing was still being done and graffiti (by the west door and in the bell tower) had not yet been archived.
95% of the stones in the churchyard had been archived. Members of the Family History Society had done surveys of many gravestones in local churchyards and it was suggested asking the Society if any had been surveyed in St. Lawrence’s.
Apparently Stuart Green had recorded some in 1992.
Dave M. would try and capture images before there was any further deterioration.
- Any Other Business
Vic Hughes would be giving a talk about ‘The Medieval Scribe’ on Thursday 13th December at 7.30pm in Southrey Village Hall.
