Lead4ward presenting STAAR Schoolhouse: Teaching the Content Areas (Fee, $125/person)
These professional development sessions will focus on what teachers need to know to plan effectively with the transition to STAAR in each of the content areas. Participants will discover how to increase rigor in instruction through questioning, relevance, and conceptual learning, as well as how to understand the different assessments. Full day workshops are available for both Elementary 3-5 teachers and Secondary 6-12 teachers in ELAR, Math, Science and Social Studies. Kagan Structures for Cooperative Learning & Active Engagement Day 1
