Sponsored Cycle Ride Saturday September 12th. Cycle, Walk or Ride and visit as many Churches in the area as possible on the day, receive sponsorship for each Church visited. Hosts needed to stay in our church for one hour each to welcome visitors. Village Hall News. The Gardening Club Annual Show will be held in the Village Hall on Saturday September 5th. Entries to be staged between 10.30 a.m. and 12 noon. Show open to all from 2.30p.m.

Flicks in the Sticks Welcome to another season of films at Acton Scott Village Hall beginning on Tuesday September 22nd at 7.30 p.m. when the film will be “Woman in Gold” Cert 12a. Starring Helen Mirren, the real life story of Maria Altman’s struggle against the Austrian Government to reclaim valuable property confiscated by the Nazis during the Second World War. Admission: Adults £4.00, Students £2.00.
