IMPORTANT: General Considerations

Financial contribution
We are asking for a contribution of 100 euros (Nuevos Soles 420) per self-organised activity being registered. This will help to cover the logistical expenses. Organisations that can not afford to pay this contribution, please send an email to requesting exemption.

Technical support
The organisers of the Peoples Summit will not be able to provide technical support such as computer, beamers, etc. Organisations should arrange for their own support equipment.

Desirable criteria and suggestions for the organisation of the self-organised activities:
Self-organised activities if possible should be submitted by networks and platforms or a minimum of 2 organisations.
It is desirable that the self-organised activities are submitted jointly by organisations from Latin America and Europe (birregional perspective).
If possible, self-organised activities should include participation of Social Movements.
If possible, self-organised activities should include debate on alternatives.

Merging Process for Self-organised Activities
Due to the limitations in time and space , we ask organisations and movements that are planning self-organised activities to make the effort to get first in touch with other organisations that might have similar interests and try to present activities jointly.

Once all the proposals for self-organised activities are received, if the amount is more of the capacity to host them, the organising committee will make suggestions for merging that will be sent to the organisations for their consideration.

Documentation of Self-organised activities
We hope that each self-organised activity will designate someone to document the debates and discussions (if possible including also photos) with the objective of: a) generate inputs for the debate in the plenary session of each thematic axes b) publication on the Enlazando Alternativas website.
