The Company
The Samurai Fitness Groupis a small, family orientated, limited company based in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and West London. It specialises in teaching kickboxing to children aged from 4 to 18 yearsold. The company was incorporated in 2010 and since then it has attracted over 2,000 pupils and runs over 50 classes a week.
The Role
Don’t worry if you don’t know anything about martial arts, you’ll receive all the training necessary.The successful candidate will become a Kickboxing Instructor teaching children aged 4 -6, 7 -11 and 12 -14, 14 – 16 and 17+ years old. They can choose between working within a 20 mile radius of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire or West London.
Successful candidates will be provided with training in The Samurai Fitness Group syllabus, first aid, child protection and health and safety. Once training is completed to a satisfactory standard you will have the opportunity to become a Full Time Instructor with responsibility for your own classes. At this stage you wil also be provided with training within aspects of the business from Marketing to Finance and H.R to Event Management.
There are opportunities for those employees that excel in their role to progress to Management and ultimately, Director level where they will be responsible for a section of The Samurai Fitness Group business in which they would like to specialise. Alternatively, with our training and support you may choose to set up your own business as a franchisee of The Samurai Fitness Group.
The Starting Hours
- You core business hours will be a 40 hour week split between
- Teaching hours from 8am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm Monday to Friday
- Approximately 3 hours a day on Business and Administrative processses
- Some weekend work will be required

Essential
- A passion for working with people and a customer focus
- Able to pass DBS checks
- Fluent in English
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle to drive to our classes
- Energetic and dynamic personality
- A quick learner who can react quickly and appropriately to things as they happen
Desirable
- Western style Kickboxing experience
- Experience of working with children
- Valid DBS certification
- First Aid certification
- Business acumin
