McAninch-Gregg
Miss Mosceoline McAninch [1], daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. M. McAninch [2] of this city [3],
and Mr. Elmo Gregg [4], of Nevada [5], surprised their families and friends by driving to
Girard [6] last Monday evening and getting married. Mrs. McAninch thought her daughter was
staying all night with her friend, Miss Pauline Quillen, until she called up Miss Pauline the next
morning and learned that Miss Mosceoline was not there.
Following their marriage at Girard, the young folks went to the home of the groom's parents in
Nevada . Mr. Gregg is employed in a large furniture store in Nevada that is owned by his father.
The bride graduated from the Lamar High school in the class of 1929. She is a bright vivacious
and attractive girl. She has many young friends in Lamar, and is a most admirable young woman.
