Notice to Exhibitors

Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of NADAC rules and regulations in the current Exhibitors Handbook and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of the trial. A copy of the current Exhibitors Handbook may be downloaded free from the NADAC web site: Exhibitors may request a hardcopy of the current Exhibitors Handbook by sending $5.00 to: North American Dog Agility Council, 11550 South Highway 3, Cataldo, ID 83810;

Dogs must be registered and have a valid registration number before entries will be accepted. You can register your dog online at and receive a registration number immediately

The Current Jump Height Table, Breed Exemption List, description of classes, levels, and divisions are included in the current Exhibitors Handbook.

The following obstacles will be used at this trial: dog walk, a-frame, teeter, open tunnel, wingless jumps, winged jumps, closed tunnel and weave poles. All obstacles conform to current NADAC specifications as listed at

THE MANAGEMENT will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any dog exhibited, or for the possessions of any exhibitor whether the result was by accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this event is in the care, custody and control of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is on the show premises. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Show Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of fees paid will be made.

The organizing committee may refuse any entry on the basis expressly provided through NADAC rules and regulations or guidelines established by the NADAC board of directors. Anyone not currently in good standing with NADAC will not be allowed entry into the trial.

Important: Please check to be sure your dog’s NADAC registration number on the posted copy of the results at the trial is correct. You should report any discrepancies to the trial secretary.

Trial results will be posted to the files section of the list within two weeks after the club submits them to the NADAC office. Please accept the responsibility to check to be sure your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. You can join the NADAC Agility list and set your settings to “no mail”. You’ll be able to view trial results and correct any discrepancies without receiving list mail.

NADAC will no longer hand check catalogs for discrepancies. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to check the results as they are uploaded, and report errors before the results become a permanent part of your dogs records. You only need to contact NADAC if the club reports your registration number or qualifying results incorrectly. If they are correct, then you do not need to do anything.

Levels: Points earned at the higher level, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will remain at the higher level and will be applied to the appropriate title once the lower level title is completed. Points earned are never lost. Handlers may take dogs back to a lower level ONLY to complete the basic title.

A dog may earn higher level titles and then go back to a lower level to earn Outstanding and Superior certificates. However, the opportunity to earn a Special Award at a lower level is negated if the dog has previously earned a title in one of the relevant classes at a higher level. For example, a dog that has already earned a Tunnelers title at the Open level can not earn a Novice Superior Versatility award via the dog returning back to the Novice level.

Non-Jumping classes – Veteran Handler:Disabled handlers or handlers aged 60 yrs. or older may opt to enter the non-jumping classes as a Veteran Handler and receive 10% more standard course time. This division is for handlers only. The 10% additional SCT is for qualifying purposes only for those who may need the additional time to negotiate the course due to physical limitations. Veteran Handlers in the non-jumping classes will be scored and placed with their standard division jump height.
