Your child will research the following topic:

Your child has the choice of making a model, poster, diorama, labeled diagram, book or any other creative project to portray an aspect of ancient Egyptian life. NO POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS FOR THIS PROJECT.

While researching the topic your child should take notes from reliable resources. From the many notes that your child takes he/she must write a one page, paragraphed report OR make a list of ten important facts** IN ADDITION TO HIS/HER PROJECT. (Your child will use websites from the PKMS Library online references and/or Ancient Egypt Pathfinder. If a User Name is needed it is pms; the password for all sites is look)

During a class presentation your child will present his/her project. He/She will be asked to discuss the process of making the project and will be asked to share the report or ten important facts.

The completed project and written report/list are due Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

Please sign and return the bottom tear-off of this letter to confirm that you have received it and are aware of your child’s research project and responsibilities.
