Oak Forest Academy

Student Athlete Policy

2017-2018

Policy and Requirements for students to participate in the Oak Forest Academy Program:

Annual Booster dues are required to be paid by any family who will have students participating in athletics. The student athlete will receive a Booster Pass, and can only be used for admittance in regular season sporting events for the athlete. Any student athlete who does not pay his/her booster dues prior to the first home game will not be allowedto participate in this sport until the booster fee is paid.

Work schedules are set up for all sporting events. Parents of the athletes will be assigned to concession duty during the activity for at least one game, but possibly more, depending on the number of students participating in the activity. If you are unable to fulfill your designated work time, it is the parent’s responsibility to find a competent replacement to cover the assigned work schedule. Workers are to sign in for Booster Club verification of time worked.

Parents who fail to work or find a replacement will be charged with a $100 fine. In addition, the student athlete will not be allowed to dress out or play in that activity until the fine is paid.

Workdays are held at various times during the year for maintenance and cleaning of the athletic facility. Parents and athletes are required to participate in these workdays. Parents and athletes will be assigned at least one workday per sport the athlete participates; if unable to work it is the parent’s responsibility to find a replacement to cover your assigned workday.

Parents and athletes may be asked to participate in fundraising activities deemed necessary by athletic director, to assist in cost of items needed for the sport.
