Using your knowledge, background information and documents,write a five paragraph essay demonstrating thorough understanding by answering one of the below questions.

B) Essay Question:Analyze Pope Urban's motivationsfor the First Crusade.Describethe how impact of his speech would affect Europe and the Middle East.
Objective:This essay is to assess your ability to understand historical context by writing a five paragraph essay that meets the following requirements:

- Effective paragraph development which includes three main points to support your topic sentence
- Effective use of text based evidence to support your main ideas (Origins of 1st Crusade, Urban's Speech, Class Notes, Fall of Jerusalem document)
- Effective analysis of your evidence (be sure to elaborate. ) make a statement.... Back it up!!
3. Effective Conclusion Paragraph: Ideas could include any or a combination of the following: Impact on the future, explanation of events to come based on the Crusade
