Additional Data File Setup Instructions
The additional data file can be found in the eMPF website under Forms & Exhibits. Select the MPF Additional Info File (Layout, Sample, and Template) which contains 71 data fields. This file is all inclusive for MPF Traditional, MPF Xtra, and MPF Government MBS.
Introduction
There are two ways to submit loan data under the Mortgage Partnership Finance® (MPF®) program: automated (batch) submission or manual submission for loan presentment. When performing an automated submission, a PFI must upload two loan data files into eMPF®:

ü + Additional Information File
There are 3 files in eMPF which will provide the information needed to create the MPF Additional Information File:
1. MPF Additional Info File - Layout: Describes each additional data file field.
2. MPF Additional Info File - Sample: Sample – This is an Excel file sample of what the additional data file looks like when populated
3. MPF Additional Info File - Template: This is an Excel file a PFI can use to create the data file (This could be created as a custom form inside of an LOS by mapping the corresponding fields in the LOS to this document)

Testing
Once the additional file has been designed in a PFI's LOS or as a mapped extract from an LOS, a PFI must test the files (ULDD and additional data file) with MPF to ensure there are no errors when processed through the MPF system.
