Change Screen Resolution Instructions

The ideal screen resolution for ICOS is 1280 x 1024 and the minimum screen resolution is 1024 x 768. A higher screen resolution reduces the size of items on your screen and increases the relative space on your desktop.

The following instructions are for three operating systems: Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows Vista. However, your monitor and video adapter determine how much you can change your screen resolution, so may not be able to increase the resolution above a certain level.

To change your screen resolution for Windows 7

1. Right-click on a blank space on your desktop to get the below menu.

2. Click on Screen Resolution.

3. Click on the Resolution drop down menu.

4. Slide the blue pointer arrow to the preferred resolution, and then click OK.

5. Click Keep Changes to accept the new settings, or click Revert to go back to the previous setting.
