Club Camp 2018
Dear Club Member
Once again we will be camping at Long Beach Campsite at Hemsby, Norfolk, and we would like to see as many club members and their families as possible join us. We are also happy to take a limited number of members if their parents are unable to make the camp (this will be on a first-come basis as limited spaces, please see Richard or George for further details).
We have pitches available from Friday 6th July (late afternoon) until Sunday 8th July, travelling home late afternoon after we have made the most of the afternoon sun! On the Saturday we will be on the beach for some fun and games and open water experience. Sunday morning will be devoted to more open water training and awards.
The campsite cost is £19.00 per night per pitch for up to a 4-person tent (possible extra charge for 5+ size tents). Families will need to have their own tents and cooking facilities. There will be no charge for the weekend of lifesaving activities. Saturday night will be ‘Fish & Chip Night’, these can be pre-ordered and we plan to hold a club BBQ at lunchtime on the Sunday (more details of this once numbers are confirmed). Families are able to cater for themselves over the weekend if they would prefer. If camping isn’t your thing, we would be happy for day visitors on either or both days!
The venue can be viewed at The beach looks great for a weekend of lifesaving fun and games. We are encouraging families to join us for the weekend, and if any parents, brothers or sisters want to join in the fun that would be great.
