CALL TO ORDER
Vice President Leech convened the Public Budget Hearing for June 12, 2017, of the Bloomingdale Special Taxing District at 6:15 p.m. There were enough Trustees present to establish a quorum.

REVIEW FY18 BUDGET
Trustee Horst presented the Budget to the Trustees. He thanked the budget committee for their input.
PUBLIC – Non-Agenda
Mr. Devney is a resident of 3708 Kingsford Place, Valrico, FL, in the Cypress Reserve neighborhood inquired as to whether the budget includes money to re-landscape the Bloomingdale Avenue and Culbreath Road entrance.
Trustee Horst indicated that while the entrance is not specifically budgeted for, the $70,000 landscape maintenance monies are discretionary and may at some point be used to address the re-landscaping. It will continue to be a working item.
ADOPT FY18 BUDGET
Trustee Vargo made a motion to accept the FY18 Budget, as presented, seconded by Trustee Jones and the Budget was approved unanimously. Vote was 5-0.
SET ASSESSMENT & ADOPT RESOLUTION
Trustee Vargo made a motion to adopt the resolution fixing the special assessment at $130, seconded by Trustee Jones and the vote was approved unanimously. Vote was 5-0.
The Resolution was read into the minutes by Vice President Leech. A copy is attached to these minutes as a permanent record.
ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made by Trustee Vargo, seconded by Trustee Jones, and the motion was approved unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
