God’s Good Creation Sin/ Romans 5:12 Man’s Moral corruption

Genesis 1:31 through one man’s sin death spread to all men Genesis 6:5

Summary of the section:

Genesis 4 – 6:7is a retelling of the grand story of sin’s corruption in a nut shell. This is a microcosm of what sin did to humanity… as sin death and evil spread. This shows us exactly what would have happened to humanity in just a few short generations had God not stepped in with grace. We moved from Genesis 1:31 to Genesis 6:5 in a very short period of time….from a very good state to a nothing is good state; a hell on earth. It is a destruction of creation…..God’s creation: from chaos to good;sin’s corruption: from good to chaos. The enemy shows us who he is and what he wants...namely death and destruction. God is creator, Satan is destroyer. God is good; Satan loves evil. God is love; Satan promotes self and hatred.God is true; Satan is a liar. God is life; Satan loves death. God is community; Satan loves isolation.
