Texas Association Concerned with School Age Parenthood

2016 Conference

Call for Presenters

The Texas Association Concerned with School Age Parenthood (TACSAP) conference is an annual event that gathers 200+ teen parent educators, health professionals, social workers, dropout prevention specialists, school administrators, individuals who work with special populations, and other interested community stakeholders to share ideas and develop strategies for both the prevention of school age pregnancy and greater coordination of state and local support services for pregnant youth, parenting youth, their children, and students at risk of dropping out of school in Texas.

This year TACSAP will be holding its 40th annual conference from November 3-5, 2016 at the DoubleTree San Antonio Airport, San Antonio, Texas. The Conference Planning Committee is currently seeking proposals for workshops related to support services, resources and best practices to empower pregnant students, parenting students, and at risk students, to overcome their challenges and to succeed in school and in life.
