AUTO-LIFTER APPREHENDED, THREE CASES WORKED OUT. ONE STOLEN MOTOR CYCLE, THREE CAR STEREO RECOVERED.

With the arrest of Neeraj Bansal S/o Suresh Bansal R/o H.No D-6/298/1 Sec.6 Rohini, the staff of PS North Rohini, has worked out one case of M.V. Theft and three cases of car stereo theft. One stolen m/cycle and three car stereo were recovered from the accused person.

INCIDENT/ INTERROGATION :

On 6/7/11 at about 5.30 PM HC Padam No. 94/OD and Ct Rajender No.1452/OD were checking the vehicles at 6-7 dividing road near Kapil Banquet Hall. During the vehicle checking, one person riding motorcycle No. DL7SR3119 Hero Honda Red Colour, having a bag on the M/Cycle handle was coming from Ayodha chowk side. He was stopped by the picket staff and asked to produce the documents of said M/Cycle but he neither produced any document nor gave any satisfactory reply. He has been identified as the area BC namely Neeraj Bansal S/o Suresh Bansal R/o H.No D-6/298/1 Sec.6 Rohini. The bag was checked in which two stereos were found. During the interrogation he was unable to give any satisfactory reply in this regard. Later it was revealed the stereos were stolen from cars in case FIR No. 193/11 and 194/110 P.S North Rohini, Delhi.

During the course of investigation accused Neeraj Bansal was interrogated and he disclosed to have stolen both the stereos. He further disclosed that he had stolen the above said M/Cycle NO.DL7SR3119 from sec.14 Prashant Vihar. He also admitted to have stolen one stereo from sec 13 Rohini after breaking the glass of the car about six month back, which was later recovered from his house.

The AATS of the East District has arrested the following seven persons

1.  Jatin @ Karan s/o Ashok Kumar r/o HN 385, Gali No. 11, C-Block, IP Colony, Amrit Vihar, Burari, Delhi is 25 years old and has no known sources of permanent income. He was previously arrested in case FIR No. 20/10 u/s 302/34 IPC of PS Parliament Street, New Delhi.

2.  Gaurav Jain s/o V K Jain r/o A-235, Surajmal Vihar, Delhi age- 29 years.

3.  Kishor Kumar Mishra s/o B K Mishra r/o Gali No. 33, C-block, IP Colony, Burari, Delhi age- 24 years is running his own mobile shop.

4.  Dinesh Kumar s/o Surendra Kumar r/o D-30, Shyam Vihar Park Phase-I, Delhi is 27 years age and is working as a field executive with a dispute settlement firm (recovery agent).

5.  Suraj s/o Bhawar Singh r/o village- Sanouli PS Chaprauli, Baghpat, UP is 31 years of age.

6.  Mahender @ Mahi s/o Asharam r/o B-4/168, Bhalswa Dairy colony, Delhi is 21 years of age.

7.  Vijay Pant @ Pahari s/o Narayan Dutt Pant r/o B-213/25, IP Colony, Amrit Vihar, Burari, Delhi is 29 years of age is a TSR driver by profession. He was previously arrested in case FIR No. 391/08 Dt 10.08.2008 u/s 387/506 IPC of PS Timarpur, Delhi.

INCIDENT

An incident of robbery was reported from the area of PS Anand Vihar vide case FIR No. mentioned above wherein 3-4 persons had barged into the residence of Sh. Lajpat Rai Jain, r/o 16, Rishabh Vihar, Delhi and had robbed the household of Rs. 34.60 lacs in cash, approax. 400 grams of gold jewellery, and silver coins & jewellery after tying up his wife Mrs. Veena Jain and daughter Ms Deepika Jain. A number of teams were constituted at the PS, in the Special Staff and in the AATS who worked on ground and also undertook investigations from different aspects. The AATS, East District was able to zero down on the suspects on the basis of the investigations. On 07.07.2011 acting on inputs during investigation, the above persons were apprehended.

INTERROGATION

During the interrogation of the afore-mentioned accused, it has been revealed that the conspiracy to loot the house of Sh. Lajpat Rai Jain was hatched by a family friend/acquaintance of the Jains namely Gaurav Jain who was guided into his act by Dinesh, s/o Surendra Kumar r/o D-30, Shyam Vihar Park Phase-I, Delhi when the two met in connection with the settlement of some credit card default and when Dinesh advised Gaurav Jain to do something big and resolve his financial woes in one go. Gaurav Jain was lured into this advice and was introduced to Kamal @ Rahul r/o Sabhapur, Delhi who had previous criminal history and Suraj, s/o Bhawar Singh r/o village- Sanouli PS Chaprauli, Baghpat, UP, who in turn introduced Gaurav Jain to Jatin, s/o Ashok Kumar, r/o H. No.385, Gali No. 11, C-Block, IP Colony, Amrit Vihar, Burari, Delhi who further brought in Kishore Mishra, s/o B K Mishra r/o Gali No. 33, C-block, IP Colony, Burari, Delhi Mahender Singh @ Mahi, s/o Asharam r/o B-4/168, Bhalswa Dairy colony, Delhi into the picture. All of them hatched a conspiracy to rob the Jains. The accused persons had already tasted blood when they had committed robbery at No. D9, Sector-135/6, Tronika City on 26.06.2011. On the day of incident Kishore Mishra posed as a courier boy and rang door bell of the Jain’s house. When Mrs. Veena Jain opened the door, Jatin, Kamal and Bachchan ( whose identity is still being ascertained ) who were crouching behind the main door barged into Jain’s house alongwith Kishore Mishra and committed the subject offence. The accused persons fled on the motor-cycle of Mahender Singh Mahi and in the car of Gaurav Jain after committing the crime.

RECOVERY

The following recoveries were made from the suspected accused

Total Rs 3,92,000/- in cash; Silver weighing 3500 gms & Gold items weighing 300 gms

Further investigations to arrest the remaining accused and to effect recovery of looted property are on.

TWO WOMEN PICK POCKETS ARRESTED RED HANDED AT KALKAJI MANDIR

With the arrest of two women pick pockets namely Poooja w/o Vikram aged 25 Years and Kallo w/o Deepak aged 30 years both r/o Village Sayana near ganda nallah, Distt. Bulandshahar, UP a gang of women pick pockets operating at Kalkaji Mandir has been busted by South-East District police.

On 8.7.2011 there was huge gathering of devotees at Kalkaji Mandir being Ashtami. Adequate staff in uniform as well as in plain clothes was deployed to keep watch over the activities of criminals especially snatchers and pick pockets.

At around 10.20 a.m. ASI Beer Sain and W/Ct. Manoj Kumari of police station Kalkaji were performing duty at Kalkaji Temple keeping an eye over the activities of the devotees. They noticed suspicious activities of a woman at Parikarma Kalkaji Mandir. They apprehended her who disclosed her name and address as Poooja w/o Vikram aged 25 Years R/o Village Sayana near ganda nallah, Distt. Bulandshahar, UP. On questioning, she could not reply satisfactorily. On deep suspicion, her cursory search was conducted by W/Ct. Manoj Kumari and a gent’s purse was recovered from her possession containing Rs.350/-. In the meantime, one Ashok Kumar S/o Sh. Lakhi Ram R/o H.No. 78, Gali No. 3, Village Bhalashwa, Delhi approached them and reported about pick pocketing of his purse and immediately identified his purse which was recovered from the possession of above woman. A case vide FIR No. 234/2011 dated 08.07.2011 u/s 379/411 IPC has been registered and accused woman has been sent to judicial custody.

On the same day, at around 2.20 PM ASI Hans Raj and W/Ct. Neetu were performing duty at Kalkaji Temple keeping an eye over the activities of the devotees. They noticed suspicious activities of a woman at Parikarma Kalkaji Mandir. They apprehended her who disclosed her name and address as Kallo w/o Deepak R/o Village Sayana near ganda nallah, Distt. Bulandshahar, UP. On questioning, she could not reply satisfactorily. On deep suspicion, her cursory search was conducted by W/Ct. Neetu and gent’s purse was recovered from her possession containing Rs.400/- and some documents. In the meantime, one Sukhdev Chaudhary S/o Sh. Man Singh R/o H.No. 53, Gali No. 14, Bhikam Colony, Tigaon Road, Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, Haryana approached them and reported about pick pocketing of his purse and immediately identified his purse which was recovered from the possession of Kallo w/o Deepak. A case vide FIR No. 235/2011 dated 08.07.2011 u/s 379/411 IPC has been registered and accused woman has been sent to judicial custody.

Fake visa racket busted

The Staff of Police Station Kirti Nagar, West District has arrested a person namely Rakesh Kumar @ Lakhbir Singh R/o A-204, Nand Ram Park Uttam Nagar, New Delhi who was involved in a fake Visa Racket.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED

Rakesh Kumar @ Lakhbir Singh S/o Sh. Harbhajan Singh, age-39 Years, R/o A-204, Nand Ram Park Uttam Nagar, New Delhi. The accused started cheating victims to support his high end life style and to earn big money in a small duration of time.

INFORMATION / OPERATION

On 06.07.11 a case FIR No. 190/2011, U/s 420/468/471 IPC P.S. Kirti Nagar has been registered on the statement of Sh. Shinder Minhas S/o Sh. Raghunath Singh R/o Village- Sundiya, P.O.- Gohgra District, Hoshiyarpur, Punjab.On this a team consisting of officer of Police Station Kirti Nagar under the supervision of Sh. J.K.Sharma (ACP/RG) led by Inspr. Ranjay Atrishya SHO/Kirti Nagar, SI Nathu Lal Yadav, PSI Dinesh Beniwal, PSI Rohit Kumar, HC Rajeev Tyagi 401/W, Ct. Rajender Singh 907/W, Ct. Shiv Prasad No. 1958/W, Ct Jitender Kumar 799/W and Ct. Prem 688/W was constituted to work out the case.

Brief facts of the case are that a complaint was received from Sh. Shinder Minhas S/o Sh. Raghunath Singh R/o Village- Sundiya, P.O.- Gohgra District, Hoshiyarpur, Punjab that he was duped by one Rakesh Kumar for a sum of Rs 3.10 Lacs by promising a work permit of Canada. It was revealed by the complainant that he came across to an advertisement in the "Jagwani" news paper wherein it was promised that interested persons could contact the accused Rakesh Kumar for getting work permit of Canada at phone numbers given in the advertisement. On going through the advertisement the complainant approached Sh. Rakesh Kumar @ Lakhbir Singh mentioned above who again promised that he could arrange the work permit of Canada for the complainant for a fee of Rs 8 Lacs as he was having offices in India as well as in Canada. The Complainant who is an Ex Army personnel could not assess the ulterior motive of accused and gave a sum of Rs 3.10 Lacs as initial payment alongwith his passport as asked by the accused. After getting the initial payment, the alleged person whose real name was found to be Lakhbir Singh started avoiding the complainant. On persistent demand, the accused gave photo copy of a Canadian Visa in the name of the complainant which on enquiry by the complainant, from the Embassy was found to be fake. Thereafter complainant got lodged a complaint at P.S Kirti Nagar. A case vide FIR No. 190/2011 U/s 420/468/471 IPC P.S. Kirti Nagar was registered and the accused namely Lakhbir Singh @ Rakesh Kumar s/o Shri Harbhajan Singh was apprehended and passport of the complainant alongwith fake Canadian Visa pasted on it was recovered from him.
