Varsity Teams Qualifying to Play-Offs, Regional Tournaments/Meets and State Competitions

  • Football – District 31-5A Champions – Bi-District Champions – Area Champions – Regional Finalist –3 Rounds – #1 Ranked Team in the RGV at the end of 2014 season – Six of our football players made All-State in either Academics or as a Player this year.
  • Boys Basketball – District 31-5A Co-Champs – Bi-District Champions – Area Finalist – 2 Rounds – Four of our players made the Academic All-State Team this year and 1 made the TABC All-State Team as well as being selected to play in the TABC All-Star Game for the West Team.
  • Girls Soccer – District 31-5A Champions – Bi-District Champions – Area Champions – Regional Quarterfinal Champions – Regional Semi-Finalist – 4 Rounds– Our Girls Soccer Team was Ranked #5 Ranked in the RGV at the end of the 2015 season. - Two of our players made Academic All-State Team.
  • Girls Golf – Our Team wasDistrict 31-5A District Champions – Our #1 Girls Team were the Region IV - Runner-Up Team – They were also the #1 Girls Golf Team in the RGV at the end of the 2015 season – The#1 Sharyland Golf Team Qualified for the UIL State Golf Tournament – The Lady Rattler Golf Team Placed 4th at the State UIL Tournament. Two of our players earned All-State Girls Golf honors.
  • Boys and Girls Powerlifting – 7 Girls qualified to Regional Power Lifting Tournament/All 7 Girlsqualified to the State Power Lifting Tournament and our Team Placed 12th at State.
  • BoysTrack and Field – District 31-5A Runner-Ups – 6 qualified to the Region IV Track Meet.
  • Girls Track and Field – District 31-5A 5th Place Team – 1 girls qualified to the Region IV Track Meet.
  • Boys Swimming and Diving – District 31-5A Champions – Region VIII Meet 3rd Place Team – 18 Boy Swimmers/Divers qualified to the Regional Swim Meet. One of swimmers qualified for the State Meet after capturing 1st Place at Regionals.
  • Girls Swimming and Diving – District 31-5A Runner-Ups – Region VIII Meet 6th Place Team – 7 out of 10 total athletes advanced to Regionals
  • Girls’ Cross-Country Team – District 31-5A 4th Place team – We had 1 athlete that advanced to the Region IV Meet.
  • Boys’ Cross-Country Team – District 31-5A 3rd Place team - Rene Guillen was the District Champion – We had 7 runners advance to the Regions IV Meet - One of our boys (Rene Guillen) qualified for State with a 4th place finish at Regionals – Rene finished 7th at the State UIL Cross Country Meet – He earned All-State honors.
