PTA - Bingo night

A great night! We raised £250 which will be put towards various school projects during the Spring/Summer term.
Thank you to Smarts Fish Bar who supplied us with our supper and the PTA for organising this event.

Year 2 – Pets in school
16-20 January

It was great to see so many different animals during our pet week. The children have learnt a lot and the pets were all really well behaved.

Cake Sale

Thank you to everyone that bought cakes at the cake sale after school on Thursday 26 January. £91.20 was raised for Congenital Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy UK.

New Playground markings

WOW!! The playground looks amazing – the children are loving using the new markings. Our phonic and number recognition should be brilliant this year!! Well done PTA

School Disco

There will be a school disco in the hall for:

Year 1: Tuesday 7 February 4.45-5.45pm.
Year R: Tuesday 14 February 4.45-5.45pm

This will be run by the school team. Please drop off and collect from your child’s classroom, there will be a charge of 50p payable on the door. We look forward to seeing the children’s moves!!

Multi Skills after school club

The club is open to all year groups and is run by C M Sports. It is held on a Thursday after school from 3.30pm-4.30pm in the school hall. The cost this term is £31.50. Enrolment forms have been sent home in book bags this week.

Winter Proof Clothing

Please remember to send your child to school with a named winter proof coat, with a hood or a (named) hat, gloves and scarf. Don’t forget to name everything as this helps with returning items to your child.

Lost property

Please remember to name all items of clothing as we have a vast amount of lost property in the office every week. As all our uniform looks the same it is really difficult to match it back to its owner. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Scooters and bikes

Please remember not to ride bikes and scooters on the school grounds as they can cause problems on the playground. This will help keep everyone safe.

Head lice

Please check your child’s hair regularly and treat as necessary. This will help eliminate the spread across school.

Used postage stamps and batteries

The school collects used postage stamps, batteries and toner cartridges. Please place any donations in the appropriate collection boxes in the office. Thank you

Sainsbury Active Kids Vouchers

We are now collecting Sainsbury Active Kids vouchers. Please send any vouchers into school with the children. Thank you. This always helps to replace and enhance our PE equipment.

Basics Bank

The collection box is in the school office. Items that are particularly needed are toilet rolls, washing up liquid, toiletries, chocolate, tinned meat/fish and longlife milk. Any donations are much appreciated.
