Lesson Overview:

Dance / Animals / Food / Education or Academics / Nature

The above categories will be placed in a hat. Students will draw a category at random. Based upon the category that was pulled, students will determine a topic within this broad category that they would like to research. Students will compose a title for their presentations and bring it to the next class.

Note: Students will complete the following PowerPoint Presentation sheet as a homework assignment. The date of their oral presentation will be determined in class. You can use a lottery system to determine the order in which students will present or have them sign a log indicating the day of their choice. The teacher will establish a beginning and ending date for all presentations.
