Job Title: Customised Training Specialist
Division: Conferences
Department: Group Sales – Customised Training Solutions
Reports To: Head of In-House Solutions and Key Account Management
Profile
Customised Training Solutions is the in-house training division of IIR Middle East, the number 1 provider of corporate training and consulting in the GCC. Job Purpose:
· Support the development and growth of a complete and competitive in-house training function
· Actively seek business development opportunities and build strong working relationships to support successful training solutions in line with client requirements
· Project manage the development of required training solutions whilst maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for new and existing clients
· Actively support the development of the in-house training function’s reputation with all stakeholders whilst increasing profitability and meeting targets
Key Performance Indicators:
· Achieve set targets on a monthly basis to contribute to overall team profitability
· Achieve consistent profitability throughout the year
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
· Demonstrate and apply a thorough and consistent understanding of training solutions and client requirements
· Take a pro-active approach to business development and portfolio management.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· In-line with the Customised Training Solutions strategy contribute to the management and success of the in-house training function
· Maintain and progress relationships with existing clients whilst demonstrating a strong awareness of their requirements and meeting specific and challenging expectations
· Actively seek business development opportunities and drive forward IIR’s customised training solutions at every opportunity
· Establish and consolidate a range of new clients across the GCC and emerging Middle Eastern markets
· Take responsibility for research and lead generation to support business development
· Take an active approach to the use and function of cold calling on a regular basis
· Encourage and develop the use of face to face engagement to increase client buy-in and commitment
· Build a strong understanding of business operations across a variety of industries to identify and develop tailored training solutions that address business challenges
· Become a stakeholder in the portfolio development of customised training solutions
· Build strong ties with IIR consultants and trainers and maintain
· Perform any other duties appropriate with the grade and level of responsibility.
Person Specification
Education Level
· Desired: business degree or equivalent desired
· Minimum: A-Level or equivalent dependent on experience
Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
· Significant experience in a business environment
· Preferably with significant solutions sales experience with a proven sales record of high value sales activity
· Established track record of face to face selling and relationship building
· Computer literate to an advanced level and proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
· Experience of managing and maintaining budgets
Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in both English & Arabic to both individuals and groups
Desirable
· Industry related exposure in Middle Eastern markets
· In-house training sales background
