Catalogue compiled by Jude Brimmer from a card catalogue by Michael Stansfield at the King’s College Archive Centre, Cambridge, as part of the ‘Promotion of Public Access to the King’s College Estates Records’ project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Documents relating to King's College lands in Toft Monks, Aldeby and Haddiscoe in Norfolk. Includes TOM/1 - /195.
Along with two other Norfolk estates, Horstead and Lessingham, Toft Monks was transferred to King's College from the ownership of Eton by Edward IV in 1462. This was to compensate the College for the seizure of much of its property following the deposition of Henry VI. The grant also included the advowson of the Toft Monks rectory.
