CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
Sit to be Fit: Based on Mary Ann Wilson’s fitness program. This class is perfect for the individual with limited physical motion. This class actively promotes functional fitness, healing & independence. This class is great for those with limited mobility/ability to exercise.
Walk & Weights: Low impact aerobicsclass focusing on cardio, toning & stretching. The class combines walking for cardio with weighted and non-weighted strength exercises. If you are just getting back into exercise or looking for a great second work out, this is the class for you. This class is great for the intermediateexercise enthusiast.
Circuit cardio: This class provides a great workout as you move through a series of stations designed to elevate your heart rate and challenge your muscles.
Kick Boxing: This is a Martial Arts based class uses a combination of balance, coordination & strength building moves with lots of cardio. This fun action packed workout will have you burning 300-600 calories per class. This class is great for the intermediate to the advanced exercise enthusiast.
Zumba: If you love moving & shakingyour hips to a Latin beat, you’ll love this dance workout. These classes will tone & sculpt your body all while burning fat. This is the hottest fitness class burning 600 or more calories. No dance experience needed to join the party. This class is great for all exercise ability levels.
Yoga:This class is a relaxed pace yoga class that integrates breathe work with deliberate muscle elongation, toning and spacial awareness for a greater sense-of-balance and direction physically and energetically. The systematic relaxation, pranayama and meditation in this class is meant to harness the mind’s attention and create the right space for self- transformation. (Open to everyone, no prior yoga experience is needed)
AB Attack:This 30min Class tightens & tones your core through a series of exercise stations while improving functional strength for mobility and injury prevention.
How Far Can I Go: This class concentrates on improving overall flexibility by increasing range of motion at all joints and muscles. While maintaining progress as time progresses.
Strength & Conditioning: This class combines cross-fit like movements, boot camp style drills/conditioning, and athlete based skills to test the body’s limits. If you Challenge and exceed your limits you’ll become faster and stronger.
