General Business

1.Dom Ranaldo has ask to come on the committee to replace his father’s (Ettore) position, as he would have like his sons take over from him.

All the committee accepted his nomination.

2.C. Pronol explained to the committee about the history, set-up and the people responsible for the organisation Paduli In America.

It is a one man show funded by an individual, named Alexander De Angelis.

After some discussion about Paduli In America. C. Pronol suggested that Alex be nominated as the San Rocco Di Paduli Club Inc. American representative for the Padulesi in America.

All the committee accepted C. Pronol’s nomination.

Alexander De Angelis is San Rocco Di Paduli Club Inc. American representative .

3.C. Pronol explained to the committee about the history, set-up and the people responsible for this organisation called Associazione Padulesi Nel Mondo. C. Pronol explained that there is a meeting/feast that takes place in Glen Cove at the church of Saint Rocco on July 24th to 31st 2007 with the Associazione Padulesi Nel Mondo and other Padulesi that are in America. If any of the committee members were interested in going to America, they are to inform C. Pronol so he can inform A. De Anglis.

4.C. Pronol told the committee that he is looking to set-up a website for the Padulesi in Adelaide

and in Australia. Which will called Paduli In Australian and will be linked with the American and Italian website, allowing the committee to try and lay out the history of the Padulesi in the Australia and around the world.

C. Pronol has also approached the South Australian Multicultural & Ethnic Affairs for a grant of $10,000 to help with the cost of the website, new clubs logo, new computers, a printer, and desks.

The logo would consist of the map of Australia, with the Paduli emblem in the centre and the ring of the San Rocco with Paduli In Australia under the map.

The grant letter must be in by February 2007 and the money (if successful) will be given in June 2007. So it will be set-up and running before the Annual Luncheon for its first opening.

All the committee supported this new idea and told the President to go ahead with the grant.

5.Discussion took place about what events San Rocco Di Paduli Club Inc. should hold for 2007.

Ideas that come out were the following;

1.A picnic in April around 22nd, where people bring there own food/drinks and the Club runs a raffle prize on that day.

2.To organise another reunion as will did in June 2006 and give the Padulesi tickets for the Annual Luncheon.

3.E. Ranaldo said that he will look into a bus trip for 1or 2 days and let the committee know of the cost and what the Club can make on it.

Committee agreed.

6.N. Minicozzi spent a total of $144.40 in putting an ad in the Death Notice and donation to Heart Foundation for the death of Jim Ranaldo and Ettore Ranaldo.

C. Pronol will inform the Treasurer to paid $144.40 to N. Minicozzi for this cost.

7.C. Pronol presented a letter from Stefan Ricciadi asking for sponsorship to help send approximately 20 students to Italy for 3 weeks.

The Committee all agreed that the Club did not have sufficient fund to sponsor Stefan.

C. Pronol will write a letter to Stefan Ricciadi of the Committee’s decision.

8.C. Pronol asked the committee if San Rocco Di Paduli Club Inc. would like to become a member of the Regione Di Campania.

After some discussion the committee agreed not to be a member of the Regione di Campania.

9.C. Pronol will try to get a flag for the Club, displaying the 3 mountains and the crown which is the Paduli emblem, so when we have the next luncheon the flag of Australia and the Paduli flag will be next to the statue of San Rocco.

The Committee all agreed and told the President to go ahead with that idea.

10.C. Pronol asked if the Committee would approve the purchase of flowers to Tony and Domenica Limongelli 50th Wedding anniversary. The committee approval the cost of $35.00 for flowers.
