Enrollment

Due to the change in school boundaries this coming year, Manchester Elementary will be welcoming some new students from Ebb Valley Elementary and will have an increase in our enrollment. It is imperative that we have the correct number of classes in each grade to accommodate those and any other new students.

To that end, we encourage parents to enroll their students early to help us get an accurate idea of our numbers in each grade. If you have a new student coming to us next year in any grade, please call the school to request an enrollment packet.

One School, One Book

Manchester Elementary School will be participating in One School, One Book starting February 22. At a Pep Rally on the 22nd, the book will be revealed to students. Each student will receive their own copy of the book to keep. Families are encouraged to follow the reading calendar coming home with the book in order to participate in a month full of reading adventure. Parents and students should read together and discuss the book throughout the four weeks. Meanwhile at school, students will participate in daily trivia and other activities that promote the love of reading. Prizes will be given for participating in the trivia contest and there will be a chance to take home a special surprise for the night. There will also be an end of reading activity night on April 1st.

Look for more information to come home on February 22nd!
