Mission Statement:

To identify the best ways to deliver information to the HBMA membership so they can effectively learn from the Education provided by the association. Remember, our bottom line is “How do we give the most BANG for the BUCK when it comes to HBMA Education”.

  • 2 per year
  • Leave lunch format open the 2nd day for networking
  • Promote Networking Time

Regional Meetings19 %

  • 1 per Region per year– no more than 2 per week spread-out over 4 -5 weeks
  • Single Day format only –hotel room not always needed
  • Change Marketing to promote Networking & Education not Regional Aspect of meeting
  • Allow more time for Networking at a Reception the night before
  • Use sites closest to majority of possible attendees
  • Look for driving locations

Webcast / Webinars / Teleconferences11%

  • 12 per year
  • Length – 1 to 1.95hours (75 minute lecture, Break, 30 min. Q&A)
  • Each session should have test available
  • Target audiences – Mix of Management or Staff
  • Use for Staff Compliance training
  • Develop Packaged Training Modules for Rent
  • Tape Multiple Sessions at same time for Webcasts

  • Educational Series by HBMA for all to use
