Project Description
The Schley County School District is continuing a 1:1 Teaching/Learning initiative. The purpose of this RFP is to acquire competitive pricing and services for 250 to 300 teacher and student devices.
We desire to build upon the current 1:1 programto systematically provide 1:1 devices for grades 3 – 12. It is necessary that devices are new and affordably priced.
Criteria for Vendor Selection
In accordance with Schley County BOE Policy, in addition to price, the purchasing process “may consider performance of the vendor with the School district, performance of the vendor with other customers, the convenience of the vendor to the District, including whether the vendor is a local business, other benefits offered by the vendor, the uniqueness of the product or service or any other factor that may make the acceptance of a particular proposal from a particular vendor in the best interest of the School district.”
RFP Details
250+NewWindows 10 Pro Devices with the following MINIMUM specifications:
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
RAM: 4GB DDR3L SDRAM 1600 MHz
Processor: Intel Celeron N3060 Dual Core 64 bit (current PassMark benchmarks)
Storage: SSD 64GB eMMC or equivalent
Networking: Intel Dual Band Wireless AC, Bluetooth
Screen: 11.6” HD display, integrated 1366 x 768
Color: Black/Gray/Silver
Warranty: 1 year parts and labor
Webcam: 720p camera

We would also like a line item bid for the possible purchase of the following items:
1) image devices
2) Laser Etching to read: “Property of Schley County School District”
3)10 – charging carts to charge 25 to 36 devices

The Schley County School District reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids.
