“BACK TO CHURCH” SUNDAY – SEMPTEMBER 18th
Emilie UMC will celebrate “Back to Church Sunday” on September 18th. Mark your calendar, and use the provided postcard/ insert to invite someone to church with you.
Also, note that this will begin another exciting and fun filled year for our Sunday Morning Clubs, God Squad and Youth Groups. There will be a picnic after our Contemporary Worship. We are asking that you bring cookies for dessert and your lawn chairs for seating.
BACKPACK BLESSING
All children and youth are invited to bring their backpacks to worship on Back to Church Sunday, September 18th. (Backpacks should be empty, please.) Anyone who would like to bring a small gift of love to place in the backpacks should bring 40 small items to worship on the 18thor drop them off at the church, prior to Sunday, September 18th. Gifts should be small items such as candy bars, pencils, etc. Please contact the church office (215-945-5502) with any questions.
