Overview:

It is an exciting time at SCSLhealth, as we seek to expand our offerings and maximise our penetration within the UK and overseas markets. The SCSLhealth portfolio range will increase in the coming years and will not just include anticoagulation.

Therefore, SCSLhealth are now seeking an exceptional Account Specialist.

The Account Specialist will focus on:-

1)  Securing new customers and in turn grow our revenue per account and market share. This will require working closely with, but not limited to, practices, CCGs, AHSN, private companies and Trusts

2)  Making sure existing accounts are kept up to date with new offerings

3)  Ensuring invoices/payment is made on time for renewals

4)  Handle questions from existing customers

5)  Improve our account management process

The Account Specialist will be responsible for revenue growth, increasing patient numbers, improving customer satisfaction and account management. There will be the need to work closely with all of SCSLhealth’s current and potential partners.

The Account Specialist will implement a tactical plan created by the Sales Manager for specific regions. This will expand our presence in existing areas, whilst also developing new opportunities.

A key area of focus will be how we improve our value proposition to customers, leveraging SCSLhealth capabilities and, in turn, helping customers achieve their business objectives, (such as increasing TTR or reducing NOAC budgets).

With a strong understanding of our market place, the Account Specialist will be able to motivate the NHS to improve patient outcomes, while at all times moving care to the patient.

This position will require dynamic day-to-day interactions with the NHS, SCSLhealth partners and other partners relevant to our market sector.

Main Purpose of Job:
The main purpose of this role is to increase SCSLhealth revenue through:

·  Selling the SCSLhealth portfolio into new accounts

·  Upselling SCSLhealth’s products/services to existing accounts

·  Account management

·  Assisting the Sales Team in achieving sales targets/goals

·  Making sure all existing accounts renew their licences

·  Engaging with current accounts, and at all-times looking for ways of improving our commercial arrangements

·  Ensuring all touch points receive a professional service throughout this process

·  Promoting best practice and methods of improving patient outcomes

Environment:

SCSLhealth operates from Camborne within a relaxed and friendly environment, focused on innovation and making a difference. Attendance at MT/Board meetings on request.
This is a full time position based from the office. There will be the requirement to travel. Our core working hours are 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, however some work outside of these hours may be required.

Functional links with:

All members of staff, directors, suppliers, potential customers, existing customers, existing business partners, potential business partners, thought leaders and contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

·  Leading on and developing all accounts (existing and new) making sure all revenue streams are achieved, whilst ensuring all customers are aware of new and existing functionality

·  Meet or exceed set quarterly objectives and targets, both sales specific and business objectives

·  Grow market share, and increase number of active prospects and lines of business through effective selling and business development

·  Help design new sales strategies to grow pipelines

·  Assisting the Sales Manager in making sure KPIs are kept up to date

·  Assisting the Sales Manager in making sure Sales Material are updated

·  Regularly report back to the Sales Manager

·  Produce sales reports, and when required attend and deliver presentations to the Management team, Board, Operations, Finance and Technical meetings. Making sure SCSLhealth is aware of the sales pipeline (including expected go live dates and any special requests/features) or when expected group accounts will renew

·  Work closely with operations to make sure all projects are fulfilled on time and the customers’ requirements are always reached

·  Working closely with Accounts to ensure all accounts are paid on time and to resolve outstanding issues

·  Attend events and meetings across the UK including ROI and potentially worldwide

·  Report back to the whole sales team in monthly/weekly/group meetings on current progress on objectives and goals, making sure everyone is kept up to date with any issues or development needs

·  Identify ‘blockers’ to achieving sales early and look for solutions

·  Read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Write reports, business correspondence and procedures

·  Manage the sales line and inbox, passing on leads to the relevant member of the sales team and taking messages whenever relevant

·  To assist Marketing and Sales in profiling and managing data to help with lead generation projects

·  Attend events and meetings across the Country

·  Attend offsite meetings/demonstrations

·  Assist the Account Managers with closing accounts that require assistance

·  Generate sales opportunities via telephone lead generation campaigns

·  Monitor and reply to AQPs/tenders/AHSNs

Duties and Responsibilities.

·  Take full responsibility for your areas of work

·  Look to help improve processes and the partner relationships

·  At all times promote a positive image of SCSLhealth

·  Work closely with all relevant departments at SCSLhealth head office

·  Where relevant, liaise with the Operations Manager and Fulfilment Project Manager to make sure they are aware of large or complicated accounts before an order is signed, whilst also delivering a full detailed handover

·  Day to day contact on the phone or personal visits with existing and potential customers and corporate accounts. Note: This will include travel and nights away

·  Whenever required interactions with employees or contractors of SCSLhealth arranging:

o  training days

o  meetings

o  follow up phone calls

·  Take full responsibility for maintaining your own pipeline

·  Regularly report back to the Sales Manager on a weekly (and if required) daily basis and provide a monthly report to the Sales Manager

·  Ensure targets and goals are met

·  Respond to enquiries from new and existing partners via telephone, fax, email and web technologies

·  Maintain clear and accurate records of interactions with corporate accounts and partners within the relevant system (e.g. ACT & SharePoint).

·  Support the development and maintenance of products by offering constructive feedback on their design, functionality and usability

·  Attend events, demonstrations, seminars and exhibitions promoting SCSLhealth to the wider community. (Note: This will include travel and nights away)

·  Maintain an excellent working knowledge of products sold by SCSLhealth

·  Work at all times in accordance with:

Person specification: Account Specialist

As an Account Specialist, you will be responsible for revenue growth, increasing patient numbers, improving customer satisfaction and the renewal of SCSLhealth accounts.

As an Account Specialist you will assist the Sales Manager is designing and implementing a tactical plans in specific areas.

A key area of focus will be around how we can increase our value proportion to our existing 2,600 customers.

Ideally you will have a strong understanding of account management and how to implement sales strategies.

This position will require dynamic day-to-day interactions with the NHS, SCSLhealth partners and other partners relevant to our market sector. There will be a requirement for some travel and nights away.

You should have the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. You will have a rigorous, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail. In addition, it is important that you have the ability to work closely with other departments and key SCSLhealth partners.
