Classroom: Instructions for Using the Resources Tab

To login in:

1.  First go to www.achievementseries.com

2.  To log in click on the blue button titled STAFF MEMBERS

3.  On the next screen you will need to enter:

·  Your Site ID: (include the dashes)

·  Your Staff ID: your email user name

·  Your Password: the first 3 letters of your last name capitalized and the last 4 digit of your SS#

You should now be at your school’s achievement series website. Your school name should be at the top left side of the screen.

4.  Click on the tab at the top of the page.

5.  Click on Generate a custom test with Skills Connection Online

6.  Template: All Skills

7.  Area: Select Subject

8.  Grade Level: Select a specific grade level(s) (All Elementary). (You can choose a different grade level to get different skills)

9.  Toggle the box(es) for the skill(s) in which you would like to create a test or study guide.

10.  Click Test Options

11.  Choose the number of questions per skill.

12.  Choose the Answer Key format

13.  In the bottom right hand corner of the BLUE box, change Test for Handheld Device to Paper Based Test. (there will only be 4 questions per skill)

14.  Click NEXT

15.  Name your test

16.  Click SAVE

17.  Click on Test and Open to view.

18.  Create 2-column lined documents

  1. Highlight the text to placed in two columns
  2. Click Format
  3. Click Columns
  4. Click Two
  5. Click Line Between
  6. Click OK

To save a copy of this test on your computer for future use, Click on File, Save As, open the folder you would like to save it in. Name the file, then change Save as type: to Word Document. Print if needed.

19.  Click on Study Guide and Open to view. Follow step 15 for saving.

20.  Click on Answer Key and Open to view and obtain the correct answers and a list of the skill tested. Follow step 15 for saving.
