·  Annual Food Drive: This year we are running a very important food drive from December 4-13 for Humanity First. Overall, our target is to raise 1 million pounds! The food collected will be donated to the needy. Please help out by donating & also collecting non-perishable food items from your neighbours.

·  ‘Ashra Waqf Jadid: ‘Ashra Waqf Jadid is running from December 11-20. Please make sure that you participate and pay the amount during these 10 days.

1. Tilawat Surah Al-Baqarah verses 7-10

Those who have disbelieved — it being equal to them whether thou warn them or warn them not — they will not believe. /
Allāh has set a seal on their hearts and their ears, and over their eyes is a covering; and for them is a great punishment. /
And of the people there are some who say, ‘We believe in Allāh and the Last Day;’ while they are not believers at all. /

One who does not show mercy will not be shown mercy. /

Atfal 9-11: memorize the following Hadith

A pious person learns from others (other’s mistakes) /
Assa‘īdumawwu‘iẓabi-ghairih

Atfal 11-13: memorize the following Hadith

A person who is consulted becomes a trustee. / Al-mustashāru mu’tamanun

Atfal 13-15: memorize the following Hadith

Promote sending greetings of peace on each other. / Afshus salāma bainakum

Prayers: Memorize the Following Prayers.

1.  O my Lord! Forgive both my parents as they have brought me up (with love) from childhood. /
Rabbirḥam-humā kamā Rabba yānīṣaghīrā

Atfal 11-13: memorize the prayer for entering home

O Allāh! I supplicate You to grant me the best of entries (to my house) and the best of exits. In the name of Allāh we enter and in Allāh we put our complete trust. / Allāhumma innī as-’alu-ka khairal mawliji wa khairalmakhraji bismillāhi wa lajnā wa ‘alallāhi rabbinā tawakkalnā

Atfal 13-15: memorize the prayer for Sajdah-e-Tilawat

My face is prostrated in front of that Being Who brought me to life and using His Divine ability and power has granted the facility to hear and see. /
Sajada wajhiya lilladhī khalaqahū wa shaqqa

sam‘ahū wabasarahū bihaulihī waquwwatihī
