POST OF MARKETING ASSISTANT
JOB PURPOSE
To work alongside the College Marketing & Press Officer on key projects and other operational administration duties.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Helping to arrange and support key college open events including the annual Student Awards Ceremonies, Fashion Show, Open days/evenings etc.
- To assist in the preparation and publication of Marketing Media including leaflets and posters.
- To update the college website, social media sites and on-line prospectuses as required.
- To order, store and help distribute Marketing materials held in the Marketing storeroom.
- To assist with other public relations activities including events preparation, including helping to set up stands, put up our display boards.
- To assist with the administration of various functions of the Marketing Department.
- To Liaise with College Design Agency, Printers, Advertising media companies, film producers etc.
- To undertake Reception/Customer Service duties including answering the telephone, taking messages, greeting visitors and giving out information.
- To assist with the evaluation / student surveys carried out during the year including data inputting.
- On occasion this role does involve working unsocial hours to cover the Awards Evening, Open Events etc.
- Any other duties that are commensurate with the post.

GENERAL
- Implement the College’s current Quality Assurance systems.
- Participate in staff training, development and appraisal systems to enhance personal performance and organisational effectiveness.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Hours:37 hours per week 52 weeks per year
Holidays:25 days per annum plus public holidays
Salary:£16,107
