This agreement pertains to the adoption of: ______
1. I agree to adopt this pet as a lifelong commitment. I agree to nurture this pet, provide the proper food and water, exercise the pet daily, and treat it humanely. I agree to provide it with a safe (and happy) home. I agree to provide this pet with either a fenced-in yard and/or an enclosed space to run. In the event that I can no longer provide the necessities for this pet, I will return it to Wild Rose Rescue Ranch.

2. I agree to provide this pet with veterinary care at my own expense, to keep it up to date on all shots and monthly heartworm medication. I agree to provide this pet with veterinary care if the animal becomes ill or injured. I agree to spay or neuter this animal within one month of adoption if not already done so before adoption.

3. I agree that I am adopting this animal solely as a household pet, and in no event shall this animal be resold to another person, broker, breeder, medical institution, research institution, and that in the event that I must give up this pet for any reason whatsoever, I shall notify Wild Rose Rescue Ranch, and return it to them upon request; in no event shall I give this animal away to any person, take it to any animal shelter, or abandon it any manner or form.

4. I understand that Wild Rose Rescue Ranch places the pet’s safety, well-being, and happiness as a first priority. I agree NOT to keep my dog chained or tethered as a means of containment. I agree that if a Wild Rose Rescue Ranch representative determines the pet to be abused or neglected, they may enter my property and remove the pet. I agree that ownership of the pet reverts back to Wild Rose Rescue Ranch, effective immediately. I will be held responsible for any and all legal fees.

5. I agree to provide identification tags for my pet within 48 hours of this agreement.

6. I agree that Wild Rose Rescue Ranch may, at a mutually convenient time, make a “follow-up” visit in order to ascertain that the above conditions have been satisfied.

Failure to fulfill any of the above terms will constitute a breach of this agreement and will authorize Wild Rose Rescue Ranch to reclaim this pet and/or take legal recourse.
Wild Rose Rescue Ranch shall not be held liable for any damages or injuries brought on by the adopted pet.
Wild Rose Rescue Ranch agrees that a 50% refund of your donation will be made on an animal returned within 7 days of adoption when accompanied by this agreement.
All animals placed by Wild Rose Rescue Ranch are, to our knowledge, in good health. However, we recommend that you have your new pet examined by your veterinarian within one week of adoption.
