One of the largest communities in Northern Virginia, Ashburn Village offers 5071 residential units and over 2.5 million square feet of planned commercial and office space. Amenities include five swimming complexes, three recreation centers and a 33,000 square foot Sports Pavilion offering indoor tennis and activities for nearly 18,000 residents.

· Responsible for $8,000,000 operating budget and $3,000,000 reserve fund

· Achieved $500,000 operating surplus vs. $40,000 deficit in previous year

· Served as Project Manager on $1,100,000 Sports Pavilion renovation

· Negotiated with county authorities to attain municipal rate for streetlights resulting in $60,000 annual savings

East West Partners Club Management

General Manager, 2005 – 2010 The Hasentree Club, Raleigh, NC

This 1000 acre gated community includes 600 home sites and is recognized as the premier club community in the Raleigh area. The upscale amenity package includes a Tom Fazio designed 18 hole golf course, a Golf Cottage, the Family Activities Center and main Clubhouse.

· Interfaced with real estate sales effort resulting in over $80,000,000 in revenue

· Served as Project Manager for the construction of club amenities

· Hired all department managers and sold 150 golf memberships prior to opening

· Directed Founder Member program resulting in over $2,000,000 in operating capital

Toll Brothers, Inc.

General Manager, 2003 – 2005 Dominion Valley Country Club, Haymarket, Virginia

Located in Northern Virginia, just west of Washington D.C., this 2,000 plus acre property features two 18-hole Arnold Palmer Signature designed golf courses. The courses support two separate communities and memberships with their own clubhouse, pools and sports amenities.

· Opening manager responsible for all hiring, development of club policies and procedures, sales management, budgeting and forecasting

· Worked with architect, contractor and design team for all club amenities

· Sold 120 golf memberships prior to opening resulting in over $2,000,000 in revenue

· Formed an Advisory Board and over-achieved vs. pro-forma resulting in 50% reduction in lot subsidy

· Re-organized two year old Belmont CC, sister club located in Ashburn, VA

Club Corporation of America, 1994 – 2003

General Manager, 1998 – 2003 Glen Oaks Country Club, West Des Moines, Iowa.

An upscale, private club located in Iowa’s most exclusive gated community. With $5.5 million in revenue and 425 golf members, the Club is owned jointly by the Equity Members and ClubCorp.
