Wolf Films, the company behind "Law and Order," along with Emmy Award Winning production company, Magical Elves Inc. have partnered with a major cable network on a new documentary/television project focused on the investigation of cold cases.
The goal of the show is to help give local, rural law enforcement agencies assistance in reviewing any of their old, unsolved murder cases in the hopes of bringing a resolution to the victims families and loved ones. We appreciate that simply because of your limited time and resources, you often do not have the opportunity or ability to re-examine your cold cases and that is where we want to come in and help. We would provide additional resources in order to be allowed to show those cases on national television. The idea is to shine a complimentary light on the hard work and effort your agency as well as many others across the country do as we help assist on your cases.
Assisting you will be veteran prosecutor Kelly Siegler, formerly with the Harris County District Attorney's office. Kelly worked almost exclusively on cold cases during the last ten years of her career and has prosecuted and worked alongside investigators on more cold cases than almost any other prosecutor in this country in addition to sending several cold case murderers to death row. Former Houston Police Department Homicide Detective Johnny Bonds with his approximately 30 years experience working on murder cases both with HPD and with law enforcement agencies all over Texas and former Las Vegas Metro Police Department crime scene investigator Yolanda McClary.
We believe that this combination along with the enthusiasm and dedication you bring to us with your cases will result in great progress in your investigations. We are excited about this idea and about working with you.
