NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION RULES:
The St. Marys Kiwanis Club is seeking Non-Profit Booths for participation in the St. Marys Walk with Nature Fall Festival event.
Proceeds from the sale of any items must be for the benefit of the nonprofit and
not for individual members of the group. Signage announcing the name of your
organization must be visible. St. Marys & Auglaize County groups only.
If you are a nonprofit and participating as an informational booth and not selling
anything – the booth fee is waived. An Application form must still be submitted.
Bring your own shelter, rain or shine. Set up by 11 AM, tear down at 5 PM.

St. Marys Walk With Nature / Fall Festival -October 16, 2016
The St. Marys Kiwanis, Heritage Trails Park District and St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce along with the help of several other community partners invites everyone to enjoy the 47th Annual “Walk with Nature” on the Miami-Erie Canal Towpath and the 7th Annual “Fall Festival in Memorial Park”.
The “Walk with Nature” is a pleasant, level walk along the Towpath of the Canal and can begin or end at several points. The length of the walk can range from 3.3 miles to as much as 10 miles. Buses are available for transport to and from starting and stopping points. The Towpath extends north from St. Marys, Memorial Park to 40 acre pond and on to Lock 14.
Also, Grand Lake Health Systems invites you to get on the “Road to Fitness” and earn 10 to 20points for the GLHS Fitness Challenge.
The “Fall Festival in Memorial Park” in downtown St. Marys will feature:
· Entertainment at the Gazebo by “Muleskinner Band”, Paula Schumm & other local favorites.
· Old Car Show with prizes. Historic Train Rides around St. Marys.
· Re-enactors from the Civil War period, Frontier times and Canal Boat era.
· Pre 1840 Rendezvous will camp all weekend on the Canal banks, north of High St.
· Fall Craft Show & Farmers Market – Baked goods – Crafts – Garden Produce.
· Youth Activities (free) – Pumpkin Painting – Free scroll cut wood figures for painting – & other games.
· Historical Exhibits and Demonstrations.
Registration and starting point for the “Walk with Nature” and “Road to Fitness” will be in Memorial Park in Downtown St. Marys.
The date of the “Walk with Nature” & “Fall Festival in the Park” is Sunday, October 16th. The “Walk with Nature” will occur between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Entertainment will run from
1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
