Purpose of SAF—to empower parents and community members to have a voice in the school and the district.
Broward County is the only large district in Florida to have SAF. It is the group that impacts school board policy (ex. Pinnacle for 3rd-5th grade). Need to ask what is impacting us, our children and Broward. There is a lot of uncertainty about public schools with the new administration.
The suggestion was made to partner with PTA to announce upcoming SAC and SAF meeting dates and times. (Next PTA meeting is on February 16 at 6pm)

Mrs. Most suggested we put a box in the front office for parents to communicate issues or concerns.
Mr. Suarez brought up the City’s involvement with the Nob Hill and Bair playgrounds that was part of a Bond and paid for through property tax funds. What is the status?
