______FurniturePlacement

Make sure furniture is ready for floor by checking for proper assembly and tags. If not proper inform assembly team.

Place furniture according to direction of team leader, buyers, and designers.

Rearrange furniture on floor to fit in new styles or to help promote sales under direction of designers.

Arrange furniture to fill in empty areas under direction of team leader and designer.

Place end tables so tags are accessible to sales people and customers.

Make sure all shelves are put in cabinets, china lights are on, and that furniture is clean.

TV props are to be put in entertainment centers at the time of placing on the floor.

______Accessories

When moving furniture groups, always move accessories (request help when needed).

If furniture group is to be redecorated the designer will relocate the accessories.

All wall art, mirrors and lamps taken to the warehouse need to be scanned to a bin.

Take damaged accessories to warehouse, fill out damage form and locate to damage bin.

______Clearance Center/D.C. and Bargain Barn

Send discontinued merchandise toBargain Barn or clearance center when approved by team leaders or buyers.

Location needs to be changed from store to the Bargain Barn.

Items going to D.C. should be moved to transfer bay. Some items such as leather and mattress sets need to be protected with plastic bags before moving.

Place appropriate colored tape on merchandise being transferred to the D.C.

______Set Up Ads and Events

Coordinate set up and take down of ads and events as directed by the team leader.

______Inventory Control

Check merchandise going to the floor making sure tag has correct information.

Fill out damage forms for broken accessories.

Fill out repair orderforms for damaged merchandise going to the D.C.

Report inventory problems to inventory control.

______Service Orders

Open a service on damaged merchandise that can be fixed at the store.

______Safety Issues

Follow OSHA guidelines and procedures.

Use proper safety procedures when operating stock pickers.

Use proper lifting techniques

Follow safety precautions when working with the cardboard compactor.

______Display and Staging Area

Keep area clean and organized.

______Appearance

Follow the dress and grooming standards to always be modest, neat, clean, and pay proper attention to personal hygiene.

Uniform polo shirts, jeans or shorts (appropriate length 4 inches above the knee) and no opened toes shoes.

______Attendance and Punctuality

Monitor and control time punches accurately. Notify team leader about missed or inaccurate time punches.

Notify team leader if you are going to be late or absent from a scheduled shift. If you will be late, call no later than five minutes before your scheduled shift. If you will be absent call no later than thirty minutes prior to your scheduled shift to allow time to find a replacement.

Assist all other display team members as needed.

Assist other departments as needed.
