In accordance with Article 15, Section 2 of the National Agreement the grievance(s) noted below is/are being appealed to Formal Step A of the parties’ grievance-arbitration procedure. In accordance with Article 15, Section 2 of the National Agreement the Installation Head or his/her designee must schedule a meeting with the Union’s Formal Step A Representative as expeditiously as possible, but no later than, seven (7) days following the Installation Head or his/her designee’s receipt of the attached PS Form(s) 8190. The last day the Installation Head or his/her designee must schedule a meeting with the Union’s Formal Step A Representative is on unless the parties mutually agree to meet at a later date.
If the Union does not receive a written missive scheduling the Formal Step A meeting from the Installation Head or the Installation Head’s designee such that the Union can meet and discuss the below referenced grievance number within the seven (7) day time limit provided for in Article 15, Section 2 of the National Agreement,it is a failure by the Employer to schedule a meeting to discuss and render a decision at Formal Step A of the parties’ grievance-arbitration procedure. The Union will appeal the grievance(s) noted below to Step B of the parties’ grievance-arbitration procedure without a Formal Step A meeting being held in accordance with Article 15, Section 3.C of the National Agreement.
