I just have to tell you that I LOVE your website. It contains more information than any other I have ever come across. I have been coming here for such a long time now. I refer your website to other parents, TEACHERS, school administration. It is so awesome and I want to tell you how much I appreciate you and the hard work I'm sure that you do in maintaining it.

Teresa,

I have to tell you, and not just out of friendship, that if ANYONE deserves one penny of money YOU SURE DO!! Period, end of story. You have accomplished so much it makes me think of that funny saying, "I have done so much for so long with so little that I am now qualified to do anything with nothing".

Big Hugs for all you do!!

Hi!

My name is Miranda Tedesco and I am a student in Edmonton Alberta. In my program(Teaching Assistant) we are currently studing FAS and I just wanted to let you know how very helpful your site has been to me; it proved to be THE most informative of all the sites I've seen today! I especially liked all the links you had to offer as well as the variety of ways in which you present your materials! Thanks for all your help! Keep up the awesome work! :)

Teresa,

Thanks for all the info on this site! I have copied it to give out at a school inservice meeting I was asked to share info on my sons. I am also giving a copy to our licensing worker to continue to spread the word that as parents of children with this disability, we can make a difference in "their " lives and with the right support encircling them our children can make a difference in the world also. I am living first hand with my sons who are ARND and am so thankful that I have been blessed with such great tools to be a better parent. When my sons were first dx'd the fear and negative research was overwhelming and being able to come across info as this is such breath of fresh air for me! Thanks and many blessings as you continue to educate us and our children.

Teresa,

I just have to take a minute to let you know how much you have helped in our family life and the life of my 5 yr old son with FAS. I have too been on a mission since receiving his diagnosis 6/98. I was just devastated at the diagnosis and seeming lack of hope. We have been on dealing with the many physical and psychological problems and continual visits to the doctor, along with explaining to EVERYONE on the way about FAS. I continue to be amazed at the lack of awareness, especially in the mental health field which is were we really need services.

I have constantly referred to your website on those late nights when I am sure no one can possible know how I feel, and I always get the reassurance I need to go on with the fight for my son. I want you to know how grateful I am for your time and commitment to providing such a wonderful resource!!!!

Thank You, Denise Costa Key Largo, FL

Hi Teresa,

It was awfully good to meet you. After several years of conversing over wire it was wonderful to meet and greet you in real life!

You are a remarkable lady! I truly value you and all the work that you do, and I am extremely pleased that our paths have crossed! BTW, if you are ever in need of letters of support to try to get funding, please let us know and I will write a letter for you if you think it will help.

Must go - have many more FAS knots to get put onto cards and deliver tomorrow and next week - Soooo much to do these days! THANK YOU for giving me the reference for the stats!! I knew you would know them probably way better than anyone else I could think of....how right I was!

Best to you, Teresa! (Hope Carie is doing fine - meant to ask you about her at the Conf.)

You have received many kudos at the Town Hall Meetings for your website. I just barely understand enough about computers to do basic email but since you've given me an easy way to access your web site, I definately will keep checking it for articles to use in FAS Times (I check with you each time, of course). We usually do a theme as you've probably figured out. By the way, CSAP has asked us to consider doing 6 more Town Hall Meetings for the next fiscal year. Would you like one there? I think they might go for that (keep it under your hat for now - they haven't ok'd it for sure). : )

Thanks for your support - I don't know what I would do without you.

In my job as a Parent Mentor I download and print so much of what you have put on your site and give it to families who don't have a computer. Some have given it to their Dr.'s and psychologists. In my books you have the most comprehensive site on the net... Thanks again for all of your work.... and your friendship.

Wow! I love your site. I am preparing a workshop for one of my BS Graduation projects on FAS. Thank you for all of the wonderful information and pamphlets. I am so excited to be able to use some of these in my workshop. Thank you for making the info. so available to the public. I will be including your website in my presentation as a good resource for parents planning to have children and parents with FAS children.

Teresa,

I have been nosing around your sight for the last several years and just want to say Thank You for all of the information you offer. I have a 9 year old with full FAS (adopted) that has had lots of problems.

Thanks for your help, support information and for being Johns Mom. The news article has helped Casey's teachers try a little harder to understand where he is coming from.

This is a great site. I am the father of two FAE children and I was able to get a lot of information from this site. I am also a college student and have used some of the information here to do an oral presentation and an essay. I am taking a Child and Youth Worker program and I will be making FAS/FAE the focus of my work; educating professional in my town, Timmins, Ontario. Many thanks for tha site.
