1.  Call to Order

2.  Approval of the Proposed Agenda

a.  After review of agenda the Board Members will make necessary changes and approve agenda accordingly.

3.  Approval of the Business Meeting Minutes of April 20, 2017

a.  The Board will review, amend, if necessary, and adopt the minutes.

4.  Approval of the Executive Session Minutes of April 20, 2017

a.  The Board will review and adopt, with any necessary amendments, Executive Session minutes.

5.  Complaint Committee Report

a.  Complaint Committee will present reviewed complaints and inform Board of current status.

6.  Review of PSI examination results

  1. Robin Bailey, Executive Director will report most recent stats from PSI Examination Services.

7.  Old Business

a.  Maryland Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors (MDPHCC)

  1. Board will discuss the approval of the list of inspectors who attended the Maryland PHCC annual Trade Show held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Howard County Fairgrounds located in Westminster, MD submitted by Diane P. Kastner, Executive Director.

b.  Plumbing Inspectors CEU’s

  1. Board will discuss the Plumbing Inspectors CEU annual requirements and qualifications in accordance with Bus. Occ. & Prof. Art., 12-503 (a) and COMAR 09.20.10.10.

8.  New Business

a.  Board will discuss New Business if necessary.

9.  Correspondence

a.  Backflow – License Expiration/Renewal Question

  1. Board will discuss correspondence received on May 8. 2017 regarding the Backflow – License Expiration/Renewal Question submitted by Dustin Kruger, Principal, Kruger’s Training Academy.

b.  Reinstatement of Expired License

  1. Board will discuss correspondence received on May 15, 2017 regarding the request to reinstate an expired Master Plumber/Gas Fitter’s license submitted by the an employee with Sobieski Services, Inc.

10.  Counsel’s Report

a.  Counsel will inform the Board of current changes in the statute, regulations pending litigation, or any other matters as necessary.

11.  Chair’s Report

a.  Chair will discuss the lead regulations with the Board in accordance with COMAR 09.20.01.03 – Limit on Lead Content.

12.  Executive Director’s Report

a.  Robin Bailey, Executive Director will inform the Board of current events and changes that may need to be addressed.

13.  Executive Session

a.  Approval to enter into Executive Session

  1. Board will enter into a private session to discuss with Counsel the eligibility of license applicants and /or criminal convictions if necessary.

b.  Approval of the findings of the Executive Session of May 18, 2017

14.  Adjournment

The next public meeting of the State Board of Plumbing will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017.
