General advice / _ / _ / As per IMD forecast during next five days clear sky and possibility of no rainfall. Mostly South-East wind likely to blow with the speed of 5-6 kmph. If organic carbon content in soil is less than 0.5%, then addition of organic matter in the form of FYM/Bio-compost/Compost @ 5 ton/ha or Vermi-compost @ 1-2 ton/ha could be beneficial. Clean the orchards, remove weeds and debris of fallen plant parts.
Kharif Paddy / Harvesting / - / As cloudy condition open at mature harvesting should be done. After threshed seed drying and separate for storage.
Rabi Pulses crop / Sowing / - / Land should be prepared at proper stage. Rabi pulses like Indian bean, Gram, Green gram (co4) should be sown earliest. Basal recommended fertilizer applied. Weeding should be done as per need or apply recommended pre emergence weedicide. Irrigation apply as per soil and climatic condition.
Sugarcane / Harvesting/ Land Preparation / - / Irrigation should be applied as per soil and climatic condition. Remove dry leaves from stalk.
Land shall be prepared by deep ploughing and keep the furrow open, apply organic manure/ green manure crop sown the condition allowed. Select the seed plot as per the planting of variety. Sugarcane should be planted from October to February. Apply recommended dose of basal fertilizer before planting
Whitefly / Spraying of Triazophos 40 EC @ 20 ml or Acetamiprid @ 5g/10 l of water. Drain water from the field.
Sweet corn / Vegetative Growth / Leaf spot / Spraying with Mancozab @ 30g/10 l of water.
Off Season Okra / Sowing/ Seed treatment/ Basal Fertilizer / - / Sowing of seed at the distance of 45×30 cm. Seed treatment with Thiamethoxam 3g or Imidacloprid 5 g/kg seed. Apply 15 tonne FYM/ha at the time of soil preparation. Apply 75:50:50 kg/ha NPK as basal dose. Give light irrigation after sowing. Apply Herbicide Pendimethalin 30 EC@ 99 ml/15 l of water as per-emergence application when enough moisture is there. Give light irrigation of required.
Cucurbits / Flowering & Fruiting Stage / - / Sowing seed of Bottle gourd, Ridge gourd, Sponge gourd, Bitter gourd, Cucumber at the distance of 1.5m × 1m distance. Apply 15 to 20 tonne/ha FYM at the time of soil preparation. Apply 50 (Bottle gourd), 30 (Bitter gourd), 25 (Ridge gourd, Cucumber & Sponge gourd), 50 (Pumpkin) kg/ha N as top dressing dose. Apply Herbicide Pendimethalin 30 EC @ 99 ml/15 l of water as per-emergence application when enough moisture is there.
Chilli / Nursery / - / Prepare healthy seedling on healthy nursery. Spray of Copperoxychloride 30 g/15 l of water
Vegetative & Reproductive / Thrips / Spray Triazophos 40 EC @ 10 ml or Acephate 75 SP 10 g or Fipronil 5 SC 20 ml per 10 l of water after fruit picking. Apply Neem based insecticide.
Brinjal / Nursery / - / Prepare healthy seedling on healthy nursery. Spray of Copperoxychloride 30 g/15 l of water
Vegetative & Reproductive / Fruit and Shoot borer / Apply Chlorpyriphos 20 EC 20 ml or DDVP 76 EC 7 ml or Emamectin Benzoate 5 WP 3 g or Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC 3 ml or Cypermethrin 10 EC 10 ml per 10 l of water.
White fly / Spray Triazophos 40 EC 20 ml or Acetamiprid 20 SP 4 g per 10 l of water.
v Protected cultivation of vegetable crops under protected condition
Cucumber / 1 month old crop / - / · Ensure timely opening and closing of side curtains and shade net.
· Train cucumber plants vertically on single stem system with help of sting/dori and simultaneously prune side shoot.
· Keep watch on sucking pests like white flies, mites disease like downy mildew and adopt appropriate pest management.
Mango / General Advise / Pruning of dead/diseased shoots and Vanda (Loranthus) after harvesting and paste with Bordeaux paste on cut wounds.
Procure diseases and pests free planting material for new planting. Planting should be done in this month. Give stack to new plantation.
Give 375 g of Nitrogen (750 g Urea or 1900 g. Ammonium Sulphate) those have no irrigation facility.
Spray potassium nitrate 1% (10 g/ liter) to get early flowering.
Sapota / General Advise / Give bio-fertilizers along with 50 kg FYM/tree. The bio-fertilizers are 50 ml Azotobacter, 50 ml PSB and 50 ml KMB after commencement of monsoon
Apply fertilizer 25:0:25% of RDF (1000:500:500 g/tree) along with FYM.
Procure diseases and pests free planting material for planting. Planting should be done in this month. Give stack to new plantation.
Forestry / - / - / Weeding and interculturing may be done as per need based. Intercropping of late kharif pulses may be taken up in alley rows.
Livestock / - / - / Keep animals indoors and keep fodder in safe place to avoid spoilage due to rainfall. Vaccinate animals against different diseases. Provide 6-8 kg good quality dry roughage with 15-20 kg green fodder to the animals. Provide 30-35 g mineral mixture in daily diet.
