GRAFTON AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
FOUR-YEAR DEGREE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Grafton Area Chamber of Commerce is offering up to $3,000.00 in Scholarship Funds to graduating seniors of Grafton High School enrolling in a College or University degree program.
TO APPLY
Applicants must complete an application, including transcripts and a GHS General Information Form, a letter of recommendation from a Chamber member businessperson, and a resume.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE MARCH 18th, 2016.
SELECTION
The decision of the Committee will be based on the following criteria:
1. Scholastic Record
2. Qualities of Leadership and Character within the School and Community as well as Extracurricular Activities including Sports and Work.
3. Review of complete application and general information form.
4. Letter of reference from a Chamber member businessperson

5. Evaluation of Financial Need
FINAL SELECTION PROCESS
After a review of all candidates has been completed, final candidates may be asked to meet with a committee member for a brief interview.
PAYMENT
Scholarships will be disbursed in the following manner: The scholarship will be disbursed in two equal installments. The first half will be disbursed when the student provides proof to the Chamber that, during the first semester of classes, he/she was a full time student carrying a minimum of 12 credits and maintained a 3.0 G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale. Proof of registration for the second semester must also be provided. The second half will be disbursed after the student meets the same credit and grade point criteria and furnishes proof of such.

Four Year Scholarship Application
